Kenneth Hansen’s journey in rallycross has been a remarkable one. Starting his career at the bottom of the ladder in 1983 with an old Volvo, Kenneth carved out an unparalleled career in rallycross, with his determination and love for the discipline earning him 14 FIA European Rallycross Championship titles. While Kenneth has now hung up his helmet, he still leads Hansen Motorsport’s activities as team principal. But Kenneth remains a racer at heart; he still test drives our vehicles occasionally to keep his racing feeling alive! After 30 years of team management and a rallycross career spanning nearly 40 years, Kenneth’s desire to win is still as strong as ever, and a key driving force behind the whole team. Kenneth lives in Källby, Sweden with his wife Susann, who is team manager. Together they have two sons, Timmy and Kevin, who like their father have gone on to be champions at the highest level of rallycross. Kenneth’s youngest son Kevin has even emulated his father by moving into team management with Hansen Motorsport’s #YellowSquad operation. Kenneth is balanced, warm-hearted, wise, and not afraid to fight for what he believes in.
