Catie Munnings continues her pioneering journey in off-road motorsport as she joins Team Hansen for the FIA Extreme H World Cup.

A long-time member of the Extreme E paddock, Catie already has deep ties with the Hansen family. She partnered with Timmy Hansen at Andretti United from the championship’s very first season in 2021. Together, they made history by winning the Arctic X Prix in Greenland – a career highlight that showcased both her speed and her resilience in extreme conditions. The pair would go on to take eight further podiums in Extreme E.

Before stepping into the world of electric and hydrogen racing, Catie built her reputation in rallying. In 2016, she became ERC Ladies Trophy Champion, the first Brit in nearly 50 years to claim a European Rally Championship title. Her rally background gave her the technical precision and adaptability that now define her E1 Series performances, taking three podiums from five starts with Team Brazil in Season 1, and securing a podium in her third event with Team AlUla in Season 2 this year.

Joining Team Hansen marks a reunion following years of collaboration and shared victories. As the squad embarks on new challenges in Extreme H, Catie’s racing experience and passion for sustainability and equality will be crucial to the team’s success both on and off the track.
