Timmy Hansen is one of the world's elite rallycross drivers, with 14 event wins, 51 podiums, and the 2019 world championship title under his belt. What's more, Timmy held the record as the only driver to have raced in every single World RX event since the championship began in 2014 until the 2025 season finale.

As eldest son to 14-time European champion Kenneth Hansen, Timmy initially sought a different path, climbing the single-seater after becoming Swedish karting champion in 2008. In Formula BMW Europe, Timmy raced against and beat the likes of future Formula 1 drivers Carlos Sainz Jr. and Daniil Kvyat, winning races there and in Formula Renault 2.0.

By 2013 Timmy had made a full-time switch to rallycross, finishing third in the European Rallycross Championship that year. He's competed in World RX since the championship's inaugural season in 2014, coming close to a first title in 2015 before taking the crown four years later.

Timmy dominated the early days of Nitro RX, winning the first event at Utah in 2018, before going on to win the first Nitro RX event of the 2021 season - again in Utah.

In recent years, alongside his World Rallycross and Nitrocross success, Timmy has competed in Extreme E as part of Andretti Altawkilat Extreme E with whom he took victory at the Arctic X Prix in Greenland in 2021.

2024 brought with it a healthy haul of podiums for Timmy, who on his return to Nitrocross for the Las Vegas finale in March took second and third at the double-header event. This came after second place at Extreme E's Desert X Prix.

Embarking on a new challenge for 2024, Timmy has also been competing in the E1 Series - an electric powerboat championship. Across two seasons with Team Brazil, Timmy has scored five podiums.

2025 saw Timmy take his first event win on water with victory at the series' maiden race in Lagos, Nigeria. On four wheels, Timmy took 3 consecutive podiums in the FIA World Rallycross season after fourth place in 2024.
