In a move without precedent in world motorsport, CE Dealer Team – powered by Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) and PWR Group – has stepped in to support long-time rivals Hansen Motorsport, enabling the iconic team to compete at this weekend’s FIA World Rallycross Championship round in Finland (23-24 August).
The extraordinary collaboration follows intense behind-the-scenes discussions and a race against time since Hansen Motorsport announced it would be forced to withdraw. Thanks to CE Dealer Team’s intervention, the Swedish outfit will now be back on the grid at KymiRing, ensuring rallycross fans witness one of the sport’s great names compete.
This is the first time a team has put aside the fierce rivalry of world championship competition to actively help a direct competitor race. The motivation: a shared mission to prove that motorsport can thrive through sustainable technology and values-led collaboration.
