Hansens receive World RX trophies at FIA Prize Giving Gala
Hansen World RX Team received its two championship trophies at the FIA Prize Giving Gala in Paris, France, this Thursday: the Teams’ Championship title by Kenneth and Susann Hansen, and the Drivers’ Championship runner-up trophy by Timmy Hansen.
To commemorate the achievement Hansen World RX Team brought Timmy Hansen’s Peugeot 208 WRX to the gala, with Timmy arriving in style by driving directly onto the stage to collect his prize. It was a fitting send-off for the most successful car in World RX teams’ championship history, standing alone at the top of the record books with three teams’ titles to its name.
“We are proud and grateful for each and everyone in the team that has contributed to this achievement,” said Susann Hansen, Team Manager.
“Having our car at the FIA Gala with Timmy driving it onto the stage was a nice farewell to a car that has served us incredibly well for the last eight years. It was also a fitting tribute to an amazing year the team has had during this incredible and action-packed rallycross season.”
